Contactless Delivery
Brandon, Carberry, Glenboro and Neepawa
|
Pick-up and delivery times will be arranged with each individual patron. Book order options vary by branch.
You may request up to 10 items per household.
Provide a list of the items you would like to your local branch by email or by phone. You can see which items are currently available by going to our website, wmrl.ca, and viewing the Catalogue. Please check that the items you request are currently located in your local branch as well as “Checked In;” doing this ahead of time will help to ensure that the items you request are available for you. Be aware that the library reserves the right to make substitutions for similar books if those that you request are unavailable, unless you specifically note that you do not wish to receive substitutions.
In addition to your requests, we require that you provide your library card number, address (for delivery only), and a contact phone number. You must also specify whether you wish to do Pick-Up or receive a Delivery. All Contactless orders will be packaged in reusable WMRL book bags. Due dates will continue to be automatically extended as necessary. We will ensure that nothing becomes overdue during our closure.
Please be aware that once your books are put out for pick-up or dropped off on your doorstep that they immediately become your responsibility, including any fines that may be incurred for lost, stolen, or damaged materials. By proceeding with a Contactless request you are agreeing to these terms.

Library Update
|
Due to COVID-19 health concerns, all branches of the Western Manitoba Regional Library are currently closed.
As libraries are included in Phase One of Manitoba’s Pandemic and Economic Roadmap for Recovery, preparations are underway to enable us to reopen, at least in a limited capacity, when conditions are safe. To this end, all library staff will be returning to work the week of May 11. Beginning that week, book drops at all WMRL branches will be reopened and regular Contactless Deliveries and Pickups of materials will be available to all communities. We'll be posting regular updates on our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing all of our patrons again soon!
