In celebration of Brandon Pride Week (June 10 – 16), the Brandon Public Library is pleased to host an open mic event. Anyone and everyone is welcome to share a piece of poetry or other writing that explores the themes of gender, diversity, or identity. As a matter of fact, any and all poetry is welcome. The library is a safe, inclusive space; participants are welcome to share their own work, or that of another writer, or simply come and listen.
