Upcoming Author Reading: Katherine Battersby

In celebration of Canadian Children’s Book Week, the WMRL will be hosting children’s author Katherine Battersby for a virtual author visit. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 4 from 10:00-10:45 am over Zoom. It is free to attend and is geared towards children ages 3-8 and their caregivers. Registration is required ahead of time. Katherine will read aloud from some of her books, share stories behind the creation of her books, talk about how she creates her illustrations, and lead guided drawing activities so that participants can join in the fun and draw new and existing characters.
