Support your Library

Please consider making a charitable donation to your local library! Libraries strengthen communities, inspire life-long learners and engage readers.

Your donation to the Western Manitoba Regional Library (WMRL), either as a whole or to a particular branch, is an excellent way to enhance and enrich the services that the WMRL provides to its communities. Your donation will help the WMRL continue to provide a comprehensive collection of books, facilitate programs for the community, maintain a welcoming and accessible space, give access to computers and provide reference services.

Our current priority is to secure funds for updates to our furniture and shelving.

You can make a general donation, or identify in what area or at what branch you would like your gift to be spent.

The WMRL is a registered charity. Receipts are issued for monetary donations of $20.00 or more.

We would also like to take a moment to thank and acknowledge some of our largest donors:

  • The Nowatzki Family’s donations allowed us to establish an interactive play space in the Brandon Downtown Branch
  • The estate of Cristine Winkler has allowed us to purchase furnishings for our new Shoppers Mall Brandon location; and
  • The Criddle Family Trust has provided funding for ongoing facility enhancements at our Carberry Branch.

Thank you so much to these and all our donors!
