If you’re interested in honing your creative writing skills with peers, this program is for you. We’ll share our work and meet weekly to give feedback. We’ll cover many aspects of the craft, from the sound of language to sentence construction. Participants may be at any skill level, but must be committed to writing and meeting over the course of the program. Meetings will take place in person. Rhymes, songs, stories and movement. Starting Wednesday, September 20 to December 13, 10:30-11:00 am. Ages 0-3. Registration not required.

Scrabble Club With the Brandon Scrabble Club Wednesdays, 1 to 4 PM   Join members of The Brandon Scrabble Club for an afternoon of Scrabble, coffee, and laughs. Scrabble boards are provided by the club and all levels of skill are welcome. No registration is required for this program.  

Let's build stuff! Starting in October, new and experienced LEGO builders can meet at the library for some fun brick challenges. Ages 6-9 meet on the first Wednesday: October 4, November 1 and December 6.

Kids aged 8 to 12 are invited to learn the basics of comics and cartooning. We will explore characters, dialogue bubbles, plot, and paneling. Come explore the world of making comics and get creative in this fun and dynamic Comic Making class. To sign up, please email programs@wmrl.ca.
