Knowledge Keeper Storytime

Join us for a very special Storytime next week as we listen to guest reader Cree Elder Susie McPherson-Derendy read ‘The Water Walker’ by Joanne Robertson. This book tells the true story of Anishinaabe Elder Josephine Mandamin, who walked the entire circumference of the Great Lakes to bring awareness to water pollution and advocate for the protection of Canadian waterways. While the story is aimed at ages 4-8, all ages are welcome to listen and learn! This program is drop-in, registration is not required.
