Mandatory Masks and Contact Tracing
Friday October 30, 2020
With the province’s move into Code Orange, contact tracing is now mandated in all public libraries in the Prairie Mountain Health Region. This means that every person entering a branch of the Western Manitoba Regional Library must provide their name and contact information to a staff member upon entrance. This information is securely stored by the Library for 21 days, in case it is required by the health authority. At the end of 21 days, this information is destroyed.
The Western Manitoba Regional Library continues to require all users to wear a mask in each of our branches. Please bring your own mask, as we do not have enough to supply one to each of our patrons.
