Stay Warm this Winter in our Interactive Play Space!

  Friday January 3, 2020

Come in from the cold and check out the new interactive play space in the Children’s Department of the Brandon Public Library! This space is meant to provide young children and their caregivers with opportunities for fun, educational play within the safe and accessible environment of the library. Our play space features a learning carpet with the letters of the alphabet and numbers 1 to 10 (great for practicing letter and number identification and counting), interactive wooden wall panels (to encourage children to improve their fine motor skills), and soft, vinyl-covered seating that functions as both furniture and toys (allowing children to practice their gross motor skills and exercise their imaginations at the same time). The weather outside may be frightful, but our play space is looking pretty delightful! We love seeing photos of your little ones enjoying the space- feel free to tag us on social media @WMRLibrary (on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).

The Brandon Public Library would like to thank and acknowledge the Nowatzki family for their generous donations that made this space possible.
