Story Walk in Brandon
Wednesday July 2, 2025
Step Into a Story This Summer with Story Walk at Crow’s General Store
PMH Health Promotion, the Brandon Public Library, Crow’s General Store and Healthy Together Now invite you to enjoy Story Walk this July, featuring the delightful children’s book Dear Street by Lindsay Zier-Vogel.
A Story Walk is a fun, family-friendly activity that places the pages of a picture book along an outdoor walking path. You follow the story one page at a time while enjoying fresh air, movement and connection with your surroundings.
From July 7-31st, families and individuals of all ages are welcome to take part in this come-and-go experience. The route starts just south of Crow’s General Store on the dike and is approximately 0.25 km long. The path includes some small hills, and directional signage will help guide you along the way.
Special Bonus: The first 75 participants who complete the Story Walk will receive a free ice cream cone and round of mini golf! To claim your voucher, simply stop in at Crow’s General Store before starting the walk and let them know you’re participating.
At the end of the walk, don’t forget to scan the QR code on the final story page to share your feedback. We’d love to hear what you think! You will also be entered in for the chance to win a fun prize pack!

When: July 9th (starting after 6:00 PM) through July 31st
