The WMRL is committed to taking steps towards Truth and Reconciliation, specifically by providing relevant and valuable resources and services, as well as through allyship to our Indigenous patrons and Indigenous communities in general.
In recognition of September 30th as The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we would like to share our new website page, dedicated to sharing information about Truth and Reconciliation and the role that the Library is playing.
On this page, you can find our land acknowledgement, T and R initiatives that the Library is undertaking such as relevant public programs and collection development, as well as links to resources and information on Truth and Reconciliation.
We will continue to maintain and update this page to provide you with the most relevant information possible.
