International Women’s Day at Carberry Library

International Women’s Day at Carberry Library

  Wednesday March 10, 2021

International Women’s Day is observed across the world as a day to honour women. It’s a day to celebrate their accomplishments, notice their inequalities, and remind ourselves that there is still more work to be done.

This month at the Carberry Library we’re celebrating International Women’s Day by highlighting just a few of the wonderful women in the world and the books associated with them. We’ve also gathered together a display of books by and about women.

Pictured are: Margaret Atwood, Eden Robinson, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Angie Thomas, Glennon Doyle, Samra Habib, Greta Thunberg, and Toni Morrison.
