Pets Love to Read Too!

The WMRL is holding a “Pets Love to Read Too” photo contest for the month of April!

We want to see photos of your furry, feathered, or scaled friends enjoying reading (Library books, newspapers, etc.). Humans do not need to appear in the photos. We’ll choose three (3) winners to receive customized pet-themed prize packages! The first prize will include a $50 PetSmart gift card.

Send your photos to: programs@nullwmrl.ca for our panel of judges (and pet lovers) to review. The contest will close on April 30, 2021.

Pictures will be judged on:

  • clarity of the picture
  • the pet is “reading” something
  • overall appeal/appropriateness of the picture

    • Pictures should be:

  • original pictures taken by the owner
  • no professional pictures
  • safe for the pet
  • show the pet “reading”
  • information re: pet’s name, breed, and what the pet is reading

    • All pictures will become the property of the WMRL once received and may be used for social media updates, advertisement purposes including local papers, social media or displays.
