Bookclub Potluck!

This week is the last meeting of the Neepawa Library Bookclub until September. Not that anyone will stop reading, that’s for sure, but with so many things to enjoy in the summertime it’s nice to take a break from regular meetings of any kind.Rather than picking a specific book for June, this club has traditionally set this last meeting before summer as a potluck lunch with items prepared from cookbooks borrowed from the library shelves. Ideally everyone prepares something we’ve never tried before so it’s not unlike reading new books!We never know what will come through the doors, but potluck is always fun and we get to share recipes too. I for one am still enjoying one soup recipe that was brought last year, so who knows what we’ll see this year?! Should be fun…and tasty!
