It’s Manitoba-cation Time!
Friday June 12, 2020
There’s no better time than now to plan day-trips to some of those interesting spots around your community that you’ve always wanted to visit. We have loads of resources to help you plan a whole summer’s worth of day trips to local attractions, whether they are museums and historical buildings or walking trails lovingly cared for by volunteers.
Take Neepawa for example – here are the childhood home of author Margaret Laurence, Riverside Cemetery, which is home to the Stone Angel of Laurence’s writing and is also the resting place of a Titanic survivor, as well as a scenic section of the Great Canadian Trail. In addition, Neepawa Golf and Country Club is well known as one of the most beautiful golf courses in Manitoba – well worth a look.
