Radon Screening at Neepawa

Thanks to a generous donation from Central Plains Cancer Services, Neepawa Library is pleased to offer free Radon Screening Kits for patrons to borrow.These electronic screening devices are intended to increase awareness about radon and allow residents to determine if they are interested in additional long-term testing of their residences. Radon is an invisible, odorless gas that is in the ground and may build up in homes undetected. Exposure to radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer overall and the primary cause of lung-cancer in non-smokers.Radon screening devices are currently available in all branches of WMRL; check with your local branch on availability.
