Please consider making a charitable donation to your local library! Libraries strengthen communities, inspire life-long learners and engage readers.
Your donation to the Western Manitoba Regional Library (WMRL), either as a whole or to a particular branch, is an excellent way to enhance and enrich the services that the WMRL provides to its communities. Your donation will help the WMRL continue to provide a comprehensive collection of books, facilitate programs for the community, maintain a welcoming and accessible space, give access to computers and provide reference services.
Our current priority is to secure funds for updates to our furniture and shelving.
You can make a general donation, or identify in what area or at what branch you would like your gift to be spent.
The WMRL is a registered charity. Receipts are issued for monetary donations of $20.00 or more.

Show description: Anna is SICK of studying and doing homework. Her school subjects are boring, and she’d rather imagine fantastical worlds and stories in her spare time. Luckily, Anna’s moms help her realize that learning is fun! Inspired by their daughter’s talent for creativity, they decide to dress up and create imaginary scenarios to bring Anna’s lessons to life.
Borrowing music from Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges, Playtime features brand new English text written by Max Fingerote. Between July and August, chances are the Neighbourhood Opera Tour is coming to your area. And because admission is always free, this show is accessible to all families. Stay tuned for a full list of performance locations and dates.
